Eskişehir Chamber of Industry will represent Turkey in the '2021 World Chambers Competition' Finals
Eskişehir Chamber of Industry (ECI) achieved a very important success by making it to the finals in the '2021 World Chambers Competition'. ESO, which has made it to the finals among the projects sent from 33 different countries from all over the world, will be proud to represent Turkey in the finals to be held in Dubai on 22-25 November 2021.
ECI Chairman Celalettin Kesikbaş commented on the subject and said, “The World Chambers Competition is the only award program in its field by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) that rewards innovative projects by chambers around the world. The competition is a unique opportunity to raise the recognition of the chambers' groundbreaking initiatives. The World Chambers Competition has been an integral part of the World Chambers Congress, which has been held biennially since its inception in 2003. We are justifiably proud of qualifying for the finals in such a large and prestigious organization for all chambers in the world.”
Eskişehir Chamber of Industry Deputy Secretary General and Project Coordinator İsmail Öztürk stated that they are so happy to be a finalist and said, “Our Chamber, which will participate in the finals to be held in Dubai with the industrial symbiosis themed ShareBox project, will represent our country in the climate change category and compete with its competitors. In addition to the Eskişehir Chamber of Industry from Turkey, Chambers from England, Ireland and Belgium are the finalists in the congress which approximately 2,000 delegates from over 100 countries will participate in. The ShareBox project, which we realized using both European Union and national grant resources, enabled the establishment of symbiotic relations between many of our member companies in Eskişehir and created an important capacity in the field of cleaner production. It made us very proud that our project, which we carried out with the support of our board and our employees with a team spirit, was a finalist in the World Chambers Congress, the most important organization in the world in its field.”
The World Chambers Congress is the largest global organization for chambers and their members worldwide. By bringing together the world's foremost leaders and brightest minds, it aims to foster change through collaboration to create a more meaningful and prosperous future for all.
